Scheduled Shutdown planned for March 1st, 2016

An ordered queue shutdown will be done so computing nodes can be freed

The already announced service shutdown will take place finally in March 1st 2016 at 8:00. Since that moment, the ssh access will not be available, and jobs will not be able to run. Therefore, the queues will be progressively disabled, so the computing nodes will be freed a that date.

So, the queue shutdown will follow this schedule:

  • NOParalela:   February 21st  at 8:00
  • 120Hbigmem:  February 25th at 8:00
  • 72H, 72Hbigmem, 72Hgpu: February 27th at 8:00
  • 24H, 24Hbigmem, 24Hgpu: February 29th at 8:00
  • 12H, 12Hgpu: February 29th at 20:00

The queued jobs will stand by until the maintainance works are completed. These will start running as soon as possible. After some prudential time, the automatic delete of unused files in /SCRATCH will be resumed too (excluding /SCRATCH/DATA).

We hope the service is restored as soon as possible, and that this stop does not impact much on your calculations.
